Emilio is an artist whose work comprises an ongoing research on the mechanisms behind the configuration of human memory, historical narratives, psychic temporality and the production of subjectivities. His practice is highly informed by his background in psychoanalysis, music and filmmaking. His main thread of work is his series "Memoria", an ongoing research that tries to reconstruct lost memories and transgenerational narratives that have been silenced. He currently lives and works in Mexico City.
